Why do you think America should regain its position as a world leader in science, technology, engineering and math?

Well. That's a good question; and like I've proved in my other blog posts, everything has its pros and cons. If we do, in fact, regain our position as a world leader in those fields; we will once again prove dominance of a higher seat in the global community. Which, is a good thing in some aspects, to some people. But dominance can always be submissive to those whom are power hungry. And the hunger for power can never be good. But, if it's not TOO big of a "top seat" then, yes. I think it would be good for our economy and population to be glbal leaders in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math. Supreme understanding of these four subjects will allow for our country to prosper, along with the knowledge and job security of our nation's people.
