"How has Globaloria inspired you in considering STEM-related careers?"
First off, Globaloria has definitely give me a great introduction to working with Flash, as it has done for all of the students who participated in the program. Not only does having a great basic understanding of Flash allow me to work with these flash games, but its use is limitless. It can range anywhere from assisting me in web design, to animations. Either way; this opened a door for me when it comes to careers. I have always had the want for a creative-outlet career in design. Preferably Graphic and Fashion Design. With the attempt for a degree in Graphic Design, I will need certain skills; and Globaloria has definitely started me on most of those. Page design; flash; and even illustration. It's given me a pre-taste of some of the things I'll need to work on during my haul for a design career, and it's made me realize that I definitely can accomplish it, if I really put my all into it. (:
